What are your hobbies, interests, or talents outside of law?
I spend a lot of my free time walking and hiking with my dog and my husband, as well as travelling to visit friends and family in other parts of the state and country.
Why did you begin practicing in your area of law?
I began practicing in the area of corporate and transactional law because I like that, most of the time, everyone is working towards a common goal, whether that is getting a deal across the finish line or finding a solution to a company’s problem. This area of law often involves strategic thinking, problem-solving, and coming up with creative solutions that work for all parties involved, and I find that really rewarding.
What is a personal accomplishment you are proud of?
I enjoy being creative and a couple of years ago channeled that into learning how to make decorated cutout cookies. I now have a small sugar cookie business where I make cookies mostly for events for friends and family. It has been a great creative outlet for me.
What is your favorite thing about living in Northeast Ohio?
I love trying new foods and restaurants, and I think Northeast Ohio is a hidden gem for really great cuisine. I feel lucky to live in a place with so many talented chefs and restaurateurs.
