Amy DeLuca is a member of the Employment and Labor practice group and serves as the Firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She focuses her practice on assisting business and organization clients with issues related to labor and employment.
Amy prides herself in being proactive with her clients in an effort to help them avoid litigation. She ensures her clients comply with both state and federal labor laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and laws addressing sexual harassment and discrimination. Amy drafts and enforces employee handbooks and employment and non-compete agreements, negotiates labor contracts, conducts workplace investigations, represents clients before the EEOC, the OCRC, the NLRB, and disputes workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
Serving as outside counsel for clients, Amy analyzes and considers all aspects of the business and organization in an effort to reach common-sense solutions to any issues which may arise.
Amy is a founding member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s “Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities” initiative, which educates and mentors Cleveland Public School children.
