Mr. Smith is a member of the Firm’s Business Organizations & Tax Department. Prior to joining Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista Co., Mr. Smith practiced with the Firm of McCray, Muzilla, Smith & Meyers Co., L.P.A. for approximately 40 years. During his many years of practice, Mr. Smith represented and counseled clients on mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, corporate governance, corporate planning, zoning and real estate development issues, and other public law matters. He is currently the Administrative Attorney for the City of Elyria and the Solicitor for the Village of Sheffield. He is the Chairperson of the Lorain County Democratic Party and a Member of the Lorain County Board of Elections. Inside Business magazine has named Mr. Smith to “The Power 100” list in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
