Rachelle K. Zidar, Esq.
Ms. Zidar is a member of WHP’s Litigation Department, serves on the Firm’s Board of Directors, and specializes in complex commercial litigation as well as probate and fiduciary litigation. Since her admission to the Ohio Bar in 1996, Ms. Zidar has practiced regularly before the Federal District Courts, Ohio Appellate District Courts, and Ohio Supreme Court. Her practice focuses on representing corporate clients in contract disputes, shareholder derivative litigation, fiduciary litigation, corporate dissolution, and enforcing and defending restrictive covenants in the employment context. Ms. Zidar is also an accomplished litigator in the arena of copyright and trademark law.
Ms. Zidar is a published writer, having authored an article on a seminal libel case for the Media Law Resource Center’s Media Law Letter. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Lorain County Bar Association as well as the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Ms. Zidar is actively philanthropic. She has worked with several charitable foundations including the Second Harvest Food Bank, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Genesis House, a Lorain County Safe Harbor for victims of domestic violence, and the Karen P. Nakon Breast Cancer Foundation.
