Mr. Batista served as WHP’s Chairperson of the Board through 2011. During that time, Mr. Batista also served as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. In 2012, Mr. Batista assumed an Of Counsel position following more than 50 years of dedicated service to the practice of law. Upon graduation from law school, Dan spent three years as an FBI agent assigned to the Memphis, Tennessee, and Buffalo, New York field offices. In 1962, Mr. Batista left the FBI and associated with Dan K. Cook in the practice of law in Lorain, Ohio. On January 1, 2000, the Firm of Cook & Batista Co., L.P.A. merged with Wickens, Herzer & Panza Co., L.P.A. to form the present law firm. For almost 50 years, Mr. Batista has practiced law with special emphasis on health care, banking, and real estate law.
