Ms. DeLuca is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department specializing in Labor and Employment law. Ms. DeLuca’s legal experience prior to joining Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista Co. includes working in the office of the general counsel for AT&T in Cleveland, Ohio. Ms. DeLuca’s practice is focused on assisting clients in all aspects of litigation, specifically including issues arising in the context of labor and employment. Ms. DeLuca assists clients with complying with state and federal labor laws, drafting and enforcing employee handbooks and employment/non-compete agreements, negotiating labor contracts and disputing workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims. Ms. DeLuca also advises and represents clients in all types of litigation in both state and federal court.
Ms. DeLuca is a member of various professional bar associations, on the board of two non-profit organizations, and has been a featured speaker at labor and employment seminars.
Ms. DeLuca is a founding member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s “Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities” initiative, which educates and mentors Cleveland Public School children. Additionally, she is on the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood House Association of Lorain County and Leadership Lorain County. Prior to attending law school, Ms. DeLuca taught chemistry and environmental science at Elyria Catholic High School in Elyria, Ohio, as well as eighth grade at St. James School in Lakewood, Ohio.
